Monday, December 4th , 1-3:30 pm, Craft Day: Holiday Coffee Mug Décor. Come
with a coffee mug or a similar size container – and possibly a small holiday ornament or bit of
ribbon - to make a small seasonal arrangement. Add a bit of Holiday cheer to your home or
give as a gift. Live greenery, floral foam and tools will be provided.
Thursday, December 7th 1-3:30 pm, Bingo. A social game of chance, bingo, is growing in
popularity and is enjoyed by people of all ages. Besides being great recreation, playing bingo
can help older adults maintain hand-eye coordination, concentration, and short-term memory
skills.
Monday, December 11th, 1-3:30 pm, Game Day. Join us to play Phase 10, a rummy-like
card game, or Mexican Trains, a modern version of Dominos. Both games can be played by
anyone. Or bring a favorite game. There is room enough and tables to play 3-5 games.
Thursday December 14th 1-3:30 pm, Movie Day: Come and enjoy a Holiday movie
while munching on gourmet popcorn for your cinematic pleasure.
Monday, December 18th , 1-3:30 pm, Line Dancing with Kathie Mosley.
Line dancing is a great way for older adults to engage in healthy physical activity. It is a perfect
exercise for improving coordination and balance, increasing cardiovascular health and brain
memory. This dance fitness experience can be enjoyed by people of all movement abilities;
newcomers welcomed anytime. Kathie Mosley will be leading us in this quirky and fun activity.
Thursday December 21 st 1-3:30 pm, Holiday Celebration: The winter season marks
many holidays from Christmas to Diwali to Kwanzaa, Dia de los Muertos, and Hanukkah.
Come share your favorite memories of this season. Join in the fun of decorating
gingerbread houses while spending time with others in the spirit of the season. Those who
would like to participate in a cookie exchange can bring 2 dozen of their favorite cookies.

Thursday December 28th 1-3:30 pm, Tech Advice: Meredith Crawford, Cedar Rapids
Librarian, will discuss using cloud storage options for collecting photographic images and how
to download them to different devices. Bring your tech device (phone, tablet, etc.) for 1-1
assistance following the presentation. Also get a library card if you don’t already have one.
